  Rory has really been struggling, he even managed to putt in to a bunker.

  My Rose has wilted in the sunshine. Justin Rose has just scored a 75. Is it too late to change my choice to Phil Mickelson?

  Made me laugh today when one of the commentators said that there was a small 20mph breeze blowing but tomorrow looks to be a bit bigger breeze... Says something when the scots call a gale force wind a breeze... ha ha ha!!!

  Anyway, do we think Poulter was right or do you think O'Meara was. I can't help thinking that it's a bit like Wimbledon where a few people fell over and everyone blamed the grass. Perhaps the pros only like it when they can earn their millions the easy way.

  I think Poulter was probably more annoyed with his own game rather than the conditions. Same for Mickelson.

  Poulter singled out #18 in particular "Windmill/clown face'"etc - both he and 'Lefty' each made bogey on the last

  As O'Meara himself practically said "If this ole fart can handle it - why can't you?"

  “It was fine and fair. If you play well, there’s a good score out there for you. He’s always moaning, Poults. You can’t pay too much attention to him.” – Lee Westwood, who shot the same score as Poulter to finish the first day tied for 27th

  O'Meara's opinion may change today - as I post he's +1 after 5 holes having hit a bogey 5 on hole #3.
