I recently hit a terrible drive that just barely rolled out of bounds and I had to get another ball out of my bag.
Why cant my dude just walk over the line and grab it???

OB is OB regardless of where it is. We would easily spend another year combing the edges of each and every hole inch by inch with questions like, "What if it's there?" or "What if it's here?" or "what about 2 feet that way?" and that could likely go on forever. I do understand where you're coming from, but unfortunately for technical reasons (feasibility being the biggest one), once you've crossed the point of no return it's gone. =(
