No secret really.  Get your Average down to 65.0 or so.

get your average down to 65 and you will get there.

dont be in a rush though. playing from the back tees makes a huge difference. my average shot up to 70 after getting to master, and now i am still slowly getting it back down..

hang onto Pro for as long as you can

    ZipZap,

I think the order easiest to hardest is something like this:

    St Andrews

    Kiawah back 9

    Kiawah front 9

    Beth Page front 9

    Beth Page back 9

    IMHO, StrangeMagic

With all do respect, no need to rush to become master.  Hone those skills, you will need them when you become master.  Play all the courses, back and front 9's as well.  BPB is excellent course for developing your scrambling and sand trap skills.  Thus, take the time to practice and you''ll be alot better player when you hit the masters tee's.  I was promoted to masters' tier  when I was  playing Bethpage Black.

As someone alluded to, it is shock, the perspective changes your entire game play.  Also, club upgrades is necessary.
