My average is 83.87 and stated as "Amateur' but I see many 'Pros' with averages like

    cire178 USA Pro 86.70
    amigo5556 USA Pro 87.16
    Blainec123 GBR Pro 84.23
    boudine USA Pro 85.80

    There are MANY more..

Why am I also not stated as 'Pro' when I have a lower average?

Once you get to 'Pro' and your average drops down, do you still stay 'Pro' even though you have an 'Amateur' average? (that would explain the above)

And what 'average' do you have to have to achieve 'Pro' to start with?

    Cheers

Hi Alexis u will turn pro soon but ur tier does not change if your avrg goes back up you will not go back to amateur . Im not sure of the avrg you require though i feel your close but dont be in any hurry as it will surely lead to disappointment.A slight increase in avrg is usualy the norm when you change tiers as your hitting from new tees that do make a difference especially when you reach master.

    Hope this helps chip

You will turn pro somewhere around 75.0.  As Chipshot mentions, most averages will go up slightly or more than slightly when you advance tiers due to greenspeeds, increased winds, and longer tees.
