    Here is a screenshot of what I have been experiencing lately.  Not sure that I ever saw this happen before the last update but seems to happen about 20% of the time now.

    It just stays like this after I hit the ready button.  The other player cannot see my chat text.  I can back out of the room with no problem and it will usually work the next time I try with someone else.

    Thank you for pointing this out.  This is a known chat bug and we are making a fix for this.  I know it is a pain but the only way to resolve this is to close the game window and start the invite over again.  We will keep you posted as to the fix.
