So I have been playing now everyday for weeks and I am at level 64. And I know I have been averaging close to even par but my handicap has been sitting at 86 for ever and has never moved. What's the deal here and how does it change?

What are you playing? Practice rounds? Games on Mobile? Do you have a second account?

In your profile and stats, I see only one ranked round (strokeplay) which may have led to the 86 average (not a handicap BTW).

Ranked (strokeplay) play is fundamental for the average - play the courses, play the tournaments and have fun!

Also, no Bandon Dunes, Best of Par 3 or Par 5, or Custom Courses.  None of those count towards average.

I play H2H 3 and 9 hole matches every day. So ou are saying that doesn't count towards my average?

You certainly seem to have been playing a fair bit judging by your ball purchases, and a couple of focus boosts seem to suggest not practice.

Do mainly play these mobile 3 hole things?  I don't think they affect your average.  As you are a Tour Pro with one ranked round and no mp then that format of play, or whatever you're doing, clearly does let you climb tiers.

Yeah I play a lot of 3 hole 18000 pt. matches but have been playing a lot of 9 hole H2H against friends in friends list. But still the 86 average has never budged.

    This!

They are all deemed practice rounds, no average contribution, no stats (e.g., no HIO count, no score history).

What counts is the XPs collected, rising the levels, and, on mobile(!), these drive your tier up till (Tour?) Master.
