I think that a lot of folks on the site don't understand what we say when we are talking about sandbaggers.  Most of them think we mean people who quit to protect their score when in reality it is the opposite.  In golf, the sandbagger is someone who plays in a handicap tourney with 18 strokes and they can break 80 without breaking a sweat.  If you notice you will see that when their partner is 5 feet away putting for a birdie or in the hole, they three putt and hack it around to increase their score.  Then end up shooting 88 but managed to always be there when their partner is in trouble.  The score worshipper is the opposite, never turn in their scorecard or post it if they are over par, they are the types you want to play against in a tourney.  You both go out with 5 strokes and they shoot 85 and can't figure out where their game is.
