    Let's take a simple poll. Those who would prefer a 60 second shot clock please chime in with a simple "yes". Those who don't like the idea, please do not post a 300-word soliloquy as to why the idea is bad...a simple "no" will suffice. Maybe the powers that be at WGT will take notice, whichever way the vote goes.

    YES

    60 seconds here.  Or better yet, 45 seconds.  If I DO like the idea can I post a 300-word soliloquy?

    a pre-emptive shot across the bow that will go unnoticed, unheeded, and ignored.  But, a damn nice try.  =)

    Perfect World:  YES

    WGT's CURRENT WORLD:  NO  - - Given the need to sometimes take multiple practice swings to smooth out a skipping meter or accommodate some other technological malfeasance or underperformance.

    No;

    Different people play at different paces;

    Perhaps the more logical approach would be an adjustable timer that ones group can agree on.

    Yes selectable, options are always better.   Sometimes you want to play fast (60), sometimes you want to chat a little (90).

    No,  as an option OK, but not only 60 seconds.

    It should be 45 seconds - with an optional, per shot, additional 45 that could be activated at any time by the player. Like on (insert your favorite poker site here)

    This would give time when you needed it, but would cut down on waiting for an afm player (away from mouse)

    MAYBE?
