moving up to TM nothing changes in the game

The green speed changes and those same approaches won't hold as well.

the change in speed is minimal jim and wont make much difference on approach shots when using a wedge neway, maybe moving to legend tho but thats only because the ball is coming into the green at a more acute angle there for stopping it will be harder.

Having moved up to TM 2 weeks ago, I found (am finding) the green speed a big jump. Only in the last few days have I got to grips with it.

Most Masters I've played with usually say a 25-30% difference is what they're running into. You wouldn't think it would be this high if you just went by WGTs stimpmeter  but they are a bit of a rude awakening going from Master to TM.

Most gear is a balance between speed of meter and distance.  When im tired i change my gear for a slower meter and a few less yards. I've seen winners of Open RG tourneys with the L29R11 Driver. Maybe they're cheaters, but just as likely (more than likely) they are hitting more fairways and have the irons or distance balls to compensate.

If yr really concerned about advancing levels, wait until u have 15 or so consecutive days, do surveys for free credits and buy booster drinks at the start of each days play.  It got me thru the Lvl 70s quick.

Well thats just it law, for the level 90 Masters with drivers rated at 270+ who can use a wedge as an approach, then your correct. For a Master who just made level 57 and cant even purchase a driver rated over 250 yet, sticking those faster greens with medium irons (of which are also low level and not the high trajectory ones) becomes a bit tricky.

The real truth about G and I is, we still suck, either too old for the reflexes, or too damn stupid to learn anything. But we still try.
