    craigswan:

My father in law is 89 and lives alone .

They want him to self isolate for 4 month's .

His carer's are being withdrawn .

So how can we bath him , change his clothes etc while keeping 2 metres apart .

Man... Wow, sorry to hear that. I’m not from your country, but surely that’s a recommendation and not a mandate. Are there other options? Can he move in with a family member temporarily and self quarantine in a room in the home? Is it not a family decision whether to stay 2 meters apart. Can someone sterilize themselves the best they can with personal hygiene products available at home and then bathe him?

Seems like there should be some options to make it work.

    LOL!

I hear ya! I've even been known to respond to emails. I figure, I'm up. I might as well check my email. :-)

Haha! I’ve done that with personal emails but not work emails. I only reply to those during business hours. I learned a long time ago not to set that precedence!

I am from his country and it's neither.

The Scottish Government have been issuing statements all day.

The headline says “Elderly people could soon be urged to "reduce social contact" to avoid coronavirus infection, Scotland's chief medical officer has said.”

Go get him now, while they are talking about what might happen!

edit: I didn’t realize this was not from craidswan. Either way, if there is any doubt, now is the time to act.

    seriously much earlier.

15/03/2020 I tested positive for COVID-19. I haven’t left my city of Newport UK in months. I will be okay. Be safe people.
