Whats happening with them? If they play their rounds, the winner will definitely jump to R3 playing against us as Birchi n Team is forfeiting.

The Bottom Bracket (I hate that word "loser's" for that one...maybe "2nd chance bracket") might experience things like this as our first two opponents up top weren't aware they had a 2nd chance. I think they missed the fact that this was a "double elimination". I guess the "date to play cutoff" will have to be adhered to and those teams that advance via "default" just have to accept the nods without having to play.
I think the challenge some teams had in scheduling their matches up top may have caused a little drop in interest that's affecting the lower bracket. OR...they thought it was a one and done tourney. It's a shame because the matches that do get scheduled and played are really fun (even if they took some struggle to get setup and agreed upon). For those of us who love alt-shot, and the social aspect of the format, this tourney provides us with everything we all enjoy. I hope the teams in the bottom know they're there and understand they're still in it.
Maybe next year a one and done would be better? IDK...just throwing that out there.
