As a newbie to LInks 2003 how do I connect with any of you guys to play. Do I need to gather a list of your IP addresses?

Awesome to hear and thanks guys for responding.  Love WGT (obviously) but looking for a back up when/if this goes kaput or forced to play the mobile version, which i dislike  :)  Thanks again, Ben

Basically the PCEA or new version is mobile.

Can't seem to find my old disk for the links 2003.  Just wondering if the downloadable version can be put on a disk in case of loosing hard drive data?  Thanks again.

You go the the Links Country Club to purchase the game. You create sign in information (name, password) and the downloads will always be there and reachable from any device.

    Hi guys,

I've been trying to get Links 2000 to run on Win 10 with no success. Links 2001 and 2003 can still work fine but 2000, 99 and 98 are a no show.

It would be a real shame for 2000 to be gone. Imo, it had the best physics/game play of any of the Links series and undoubtedly the best cup physics of any golf game I've ever played.

If anyone manages to get any of the old LS versions (2000 and earlier) running on Win 10, could you please post and mention anything you specifically did to get it running.

    Thanks.

Links has a community forum. There are two patches you have to install for 2000 to work

So you joined WGT to ask that question?

I have been searching for any threads which may lead to getting LS 2000 to work on Win 10. This thread came up. There are people here who may be able to possibly help, didn't see any harm.

If the situation was flipped and there was a WGT thread at a Links site and someone came in with a WGT question, I wouldn't see any issue.

That is for Links 2003. Have not found one instance of anyone managing to run 2000 or earlier versions anywhere. This thread itself, in the thread title, references the old Links versions.

Just out of curiousity, why are you so determined to get 2000 to work? I came up through all of the Links programs from 98 on and 2003 is by far the best of the lot. Was there something in 2000 that made it better?
