  as an outsider i have enjoyed keeping up with this fantastic match up between these  two top teams.

  the grande oaks have laid their unbeaten run on the table and aphrodite met the challenge .some very hard fought battles and loads of friendly  banter which i love and this is what makes it fun,

  even though aphrodite won by 1 match you are both winners in my eyes,

  i know one day i will  be at a club and create a team to challenge either of you and give you a good match thats a promise

  well done all players and hope you have made a new friend along the way.

  Congratulations to Aphrodite, a hard fought victory, very well played.

  This was an epic match, highly competitive and played in true sporting fashion. Both clubs should be really proud of their performance.

  I'll post the final result table and present the trophy to Aphrodite in this thread later, it's my birthday today, I'm off to have fun...

  To anyone who competed or had anything to do with either club I honor and congratulate each and every one of you. There are no LOSERS here no matter what the final tally shows. For all of those in Aphrodite I commend and respect you for your hard work, grit, determination, never die, take no prisoners, balls to the wall mentality, superb skill and ultimately you came through with the final match in your favor. When losing you lost with grace and honor and the same can go for MY GOGC FAMILY. It's with great pride and reverence I address my GOGC FAMILY as they all laid their hearts, souls, spirits, and everything else they could on the line. The mark of a true champion is how he or she comes back from defeat and this is what invariably determines the true heart and character of a person or in this case club/fraternity. With that being said Aphrodite you must know NOW GOGC already is and will be the toughest and most determined club along with fraternity of ppl going forward. Thank you so much for the lessons and the experiences going forward as we will take them and learn and become even stronger and more skilled than anyone ever thought was possible. You all should be very proud and humble as not only this will go down in epic proportions for WGT but it should have a true and positive effect for all of us as individuals going forward in our lives. CONGRATS APHRODITE AND THEIR EXTENDED FAMILY!!! THIS IS YOUR DAY!!! NOW YOU HAVE AWAKENED THE UNKNOWN AND SURPRISINGLY VOLATILE WILD BEAT OTHERWISE KNOWN AS GOGC. All the best Ace...

  A bunch of great, and well played, matches.  Congratulations to all the members of Aphrodite.

  I would love to see the matches listed with the scores included.  It seemed like there were a load of "nail biters".

  A class event between two class teams from two of the best clubs on WGT.

  (The only thing I didn't enjoy was the final tally.)

  Awesome competition and sportsmanship!

  I am proud to be a member of the Aphrodite team.

  You can certainly see why Grande Oaks has the record they have.

  They are great players top to bottom and super people as well.

  Congratulations to both teams for a fantastic competition.
