Your kidding right?  Pony up the $20 and stop harassing the hard working people of WGT.

    Cheers

    ...BZZZZZZZZZZ!  Time's up!  Ooooh...sorry!

Buy 'em like most other people or earn 'em with good golf, like a few of us.

Umcane - People don't tend to like others asking for clubs. You're better off not asking and dealing with the clubs you have.

And anyway, there's a line! Can I have some wedges now please?

And anyway, as in real life, a good putter will do you much better than a driver.  You drive for show, but you putt for dough.

    Chauffer, Taxi, NASCAR or F1?

    Would a Rickshaw cover it?

    How about a "Rickroll" instead?

I know I'm newer around here, so I apologize if I didn't follow standard protocol, but is joking around not permitted?

It is permitted and encouraged, umcane... Hence the "Rickroll" above.

The problem is not with you, but with your choice of material.

Begging for clubs is common practice around here and most of the regular forum rats will frown on it.

Sure joking is permitted.  BUT, you are not the first to ask questions like that, either in the forum or during a game, about wanting someone to gift/buy them clubs.  The only problem is they WEREN'T JOKING.
