    erm...........

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've bought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

    When we finally kissgoodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm

    The fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still goodbying
But as long as you love me so
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

    LOL!

Any chance of a bit of snow at the WACA I wonder? Probably more likely than an England fightback.

Howzat! The Ashes is pretty much wrapped up as rain is forecasted for the 5th day. England have the fourth day only to win or draw. The Aussies have no chance, there's a bigger chance of 10ft snow in London. More runs by Cook, he should be the player of the series. Hoping to wake up tomorrow to find England win the series outright in style. No more bets on the result unless it's about how many thousands England can reach :)

    Howzat indeed.

I've been basking in the glory of it all since the last test when we retained the Ashes for the first ime on Australian soil since Adam was a lad.

However that fantastic achievement would have been tarnished somewhat had Australia managed to square the series by winning the final rubber.

Step forward Ian Bell and the unbelievably improved Alistair Cook. Brilliant day yesterday largely due to their contributions, and we go into Day 4 with a 200+ lead and a fantastic opportunity to take the series 3-1.

It's January, it's freezing cold, work is a nightmare, and my wife has spent enough money over Christmas to wipe out the national deficit, but d'you know what - I don't care.

    Life is sweet.

    Edit:

    Tonights football results:

    Everton 2 Spurs 1

    Blackburn 3 Liverpool 1

If I'm dreaming I don't want to wake up!
