Relatively new to WGT.  How does this work?  I need to find someone who is on this tour to play my first two rounds, and then the last round is decided for me.   How are the rounds set up? IRC?  Messages?  Any of the above?

First you decide who you want to play with for the first two rounds.  Obviously your playing partner must be a member of the Hooters Tour.  The last round I decide the pairings based on the tournament leaderboard.

Rounds will be specified the Monday morning which is the beginning of each tournament.

It should be alot of fun and please read the beginning of this thread.  Everything is explained there.

Yeah I read the beginning, but was uncertain about how I was going to get my matches in against random people considering none of my current WGT friends, as far as I know would participate in this tour.

So basically I contact anyone on the tour and ask if they would like to play one or two of their rounds with me. The third is decided by you.

What happens if I can't find a member to play my first two rounds?

    Thanks,

    b0geybuster

Really, that shouldn't be an issue.  Just ask for an invite for rounds 1 or 2.  Players here are really great.  Alot of players will mark (witness) your round.   I will also be available for marking for the first two rounds.

If you go through the 2010 WGA Tour, it is a prime example.

Hey b0geybuster, before this tournament actually starts for the first time there will be a list of all who have signed on to play this tour. You can post on  anybody's wall looking for a game or you can just go to the last page of this thread and just say you need to play your round or rounds. You should have no trouble finding a playing partner. Some will have played there round already but will play with you as a witness.

Read the first post in this thread.  There is a link to view the leaderboard.  On the bottom of the page you will see a series of labels.  One of those labels is labeled "Participants".  You will see a listing of all who have signed up for the tour.  That listing is sorted alphabetically.

That spreadsheet shows you the point distribution, current point standings in the tour.  Your place in the current tournament.  Everything is there in one compact spreadsheet.  Any editing I have to do will be in that spreadsheet.  Hope that helps everyone.

I will post the all the participants the day prior to the Tour beginning.

Did everyone get a chance to look at the Tournament schedule.  The link is there too.
