  Hey everyone, Here are the patch notes for this months update 1.96! All of these will be reflected in game on the client update (when you have the option to update your game).

  Desktop only

  • Added a sound when player receives an invite to a multiplayer game

  Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing apparel bonuses to not work correctly in multiplayer game modes (non coin games)
  • Fixed an issue where CC and player goals reset progress
  • Fixed an issue where the Puma Jackpot pants were not showing correctly
  • Limited the time for when a Showdown goal is available to be more relevant to the entry time
  • Fixed an issue where the Country Club leaderboard weekly results pop-up had overlapping text
  • Fixed an issue where Country Club chat messages didn’t show immediately in the chat after sending
  • Fixed an issue where prizes on the Country Club leaderboard go outside the prize ui
  • Fixed an issue where the Country Club member page sorted Alphabetically but separated by case
  • Fixed an issue where tournament results show the wrong tier for the player in a tiered tournament
  • Fixed an issue where Oakmont #6 description was showing debug text
  • Fixed an issue where the USGA 2018 apparel were not showing correctly
  • Android Only: Fixed an issue where inBrain surveys section didn’t open

  Holiday Bundle

  • Add some holiday spirit to your avatar with a holiday bundle
    • You'll look minty fresh in a full festive fit – bundles include a glove, shirt, pants and a sleeve of balls
    • Coming soon (after client updates are all out and mandatory on all platforms)

  Holiday Ball

  • We're offering the 2023 Holiday Golf Balls on their own so you can stock up for all that time you'll be playing WGT on the couch this winter and holiday season.
    • Coming soon (after client updates are all out and mandatory on all platforms)

  Holly Jolly Showdown

  • Tee's the season for a holiday Showdown, and don't worry, we got one
    • Starting in December

  New FTE (first time user experience)

  • This is only pertains to new players and is a new tutorial/introduction to the game
    • This should help bring in new players to better understand all aspects of the game

  XP leaderboards were originally supposed to come out this release, but we discovered an issue last minute that will cause another delay on that.

  @Nico:  All of this is nice and sounds like you fixed a lot of little problems but, why was the white line on the greens not addressed. These lines have nothing to do with reading the greens or determining the break. So many players have complained but, nothing has been done about it. If you are not going to take it away, please tell us why it's there. Thanks

  Hey everyone, there is a new visual issue for those on 1.96 that can be seen when looking at the CC goals leaderboard. It is showing the incorrect prizing for 7th to 10th place, as well as prizes for 11th-60th. There shouldn't be any prizes for 11th-60th. We're looking into this issue now and I'm hoping to have more clarity on how long it will remain in game. However with Thanksgiving soon approaching it won't be surprising if we'll have this visual issue for a couple weeks.

  The white line is here to stay in WGT as it is an intended feature especially since the line is available on every other putting view

  Thanks for imposing something upon us which alot of us did not ask for , at least give us the option to turn that damn annoying white line off ...I already have a line if wanted by pressing the left mouse button

  I know the line is available but what is it supposed to do? And why do we not have an option to turn it off? You keep doing these kind of things that make no sense at all and not explaining their purpose. Maybe if we know how to use the line, we would shut up about it.

  Two wrongs don't make a right.  There is absolutely no reason for having a straight line in any view, so why didn't you take it out of all views rather than putting it in the remaining views?!?

  As has been said, no one asked for this, so why waste time doing something that 95% of people don't want!
