    Very tight match - ton of fun and well contested.

    gattylong and wleiss defeated irzy and Modernist in a 18-hole Alternate Shot game on MERION GOLF CLUB.

    Gatty and I had a good time out there with Irzy and Ed. We got down early and just kept holding on and waiting for something good to happen. We were able to scrape by for the win after Gatty hit a brilliant tee shot on 17. Thanks for a fun round Gatty, Irzy and Ed. Thanks to Topper and to everyone involved in this tourney. I had a chance to paly a lot of "golf" with Casey and he really was an extremely kind and generous person. I am so glad that this tournament honors him. He is missed.
