cannot resume play where the ball was hit

  I start a single and Quick Play.  Each time I hit the ball, I continue but never at the place where the ball lands, i.e. I land on the green, but my next shot is in the fairway somewhere.  I never continue where I left off.  I search the FAQs and could not find anything about this.
   
  Please let know if you can steer me clear on this.  Thank you.

  You are playing a Skills Challenge.  It's a 9-hole, one shot per hole competition where you just try to get closest to the pin on each shot.

  To play the actual stroke play, you need to:

  • Click Play Now to load the Game Client
  • Choose a SINGLE PLAYER game
  • Choose SELECT COURSE
  • Select either Bethpage or Kiawah
  • Under Game Type on the right, choose STROKE PLAY

  From there you can set all your options such as a Ranked or Practice round.  If you choose a Practice round you can set wind conditions, tee boxes, hole locations (on Bethpage) and other stuff.  Practice rounds do not track stats.  If you want to lower your average, you must complete RANKED stroke play rounds and tournaments.

  You are playing CTTH (closest to the hole) competitions.

  Pick stroke play on either Bethpage black or Kiawah.
