A Rod Stewart classic ! “ we are sailing” ……
starting with Merion B9 , med-strong wind, 11 speed greens.
They are sailing alright loooong drives with the wind leaving short shots into the greens. I made some putts and scored well for me. Had great fun with this one!
Our 1st match was a WC B9. Second is at Merion B9.
11 speed greens and high wind.

Not variety, Lesley, but OTOH you haven’t faced the wind at Chambers Bay, Pebble, or ST. Andrews!
Bad luck Boss. It happens in clashes.
After WC and Merion, our 3rd and 4th matches were at PGA National B9. PGA is very gettable even in these winds if one can land the drive in the fairway.
Just enjoyed the PGA, and whilst we haven’t had it yet , I love st Andrews on the wind !
We’ve had all but St.Andrews. Very painful trying to find fairways in crosswinds at Merion. I’ll take the light rough at National any day. Unfortunately, the one time we had it was rd 1 when I was not awake.
