Apparel: 200/500 or 500/222 wtf ?

  What do these numbers even mean? I was pretty sure that I knew what was going on until the front number started getting bigger than the 2nd number. I see these Apparel items leveled up during sponsor box opening, but then they are completely different when you go to your Apparel...

  There has got to be somewhere explaining all this, as that seems to be the only damn thing coins even are used for...

  These fractions don't seem to make a bit of sense as they are thrown all over the game, and in different quantities as if only random numbers to only look at.

  Anyone know?

  I think once the numerator is higher than the denominator, you can upgrade the apparel item for whatever the amount of coins is.  So once you upgrade the item that is currently showing say 350/200, the fraction will change to 150/500 or something similar.  Then once you get to 500/500 for that item you will be able to upgrade and the fraction will change again to 500/1000. Once you get to 1000/1000 for an item it will be displayed as Maxed. At least that's how I understand it.

  correct on the first example because you had 150 “extra.”  On the second example though, you would be 0/1000 after buying the upgrade because you used all 500 in the upgrade.

  Items don’t “level up” per se, when you open a sponsor pack.  You just get 1 or 3, or maybe 10 points added to what you already had accumulated for that item.  So you might go from 350/500 to 353/500 or 360/500, getting closer to being able to buy the upgrade at 500/500.
