  55 at Erin. All going well until a ding to 17 missed 4yds right and long to leave a horribly bendy downhiller, duly missed.

  Happy week for e1...

  Just i played WK8 18 Holes Single Play ...MERION

  My Front 9 was my typical.. 2 bogeis   and 1 double bogey (PAR 5...lol) (+4)

  My Back 9 was my typical....4 Birdies ( #10-#13-#15-#18) (-4)

  My scorecard says to me 70 (PAR)

  Wooooo Hooooooooooooooooooo...lol

  Lost two very good options for birdie and i lost 1 Eagle on #10...pitching from fringe (16 yds) and my pitch sent the ball 0.2 to PIN.

  Well....i hope e1 have a nice round at Merion!!!

  Leaderboard has been updated through Round 2 on page 1

  With Round 2 complete, there are some fantastic scores at the top of the leaderboard. Who will make their move? Who will hold their rank? We are at Merion for Round 3. It's moving week at the Groundhog Day ...Again tournament!

  Wk 8 at Merion +2 (72) this course has always been my nemesis - birdies on first 2 par 5’s then of course hole 5 gives me grief first bogey - pars for the rest of the front 9 birdies on 10 and 11 and you think ok I can get this - short par 3 hit it to the fringe fast downhill hits the lip and roles away by 8ft bogey - then first shot on 16 in the rough 2nd shot lost ball chip out of rough play shot to green for bogey ended up with quadruple lol I love Merion where’s my coffee oh well

  TIP: #13 (par 3) with the back pin plays at 134y. It is easy to go long (sand trap) or get hung up above the hole. Playing a punch shot about a yard short gives you a great look at bird virtually every time. Hitting the tee shot pin high will leave a nasty putt that is very difficult to make, and can even lead to a 3 putt, but leaving it a yard short gives you a good look every time.

  I love Merion. She is so difficult, but she can be had with well placed shots.

  Merion week8----68. It's not that I played badly, it's that I didn't do anything good lol.
