    Well,

I was whining about my diminishing performance then turn around and drop my average to 60. What happened? Putting happened. I took my time, read the green both forward and reverse.

Putting Myth Busted: The ball rolls over the hole when you hit it too hard. Well it will, but it will also "appear" to roll over the hole if you don't hit it hard enough. This was one error I fixed that dramatically improved my putting especially on a side hill. A little harder and a little less break and kerplunk...birdie! The reason is that the break is more severe the lighter you hit the ball. The harder you hit the ball, the less break.

Oh and last but not least...I stopped missing the 3ft birdies because I underestimated and hit too soon. Now I actually take the same amount of time reading on all length putts.

    Hope this helps,

    TMPC
