when are you no longer a hack??

  I'm at 93.08 and at amateur.  could it be based on trophys?

  I'm 109 and an amatuer.

  It changed for me around 115 I think. I've played 3 rounds, 10 closets to the pin contests and 2 nine hole rounds.

  I only have a pair of birdie trophies. I just started and have no clue what is really going on.

  No idea how this works, I was bumped to a Pro (my Handy cap was 71 and I have only placed in a tournament once.

  Now my handycap is 83 and I can't even break the top 1000 on anything...and I'm still in the Pro ranks...

  i dropped to amateur at 130. At 119 now and still amateur

  Any posts regarding tier numbers in this thread made before May 25th are irrelevant because of the tier changes brought on when Bethpage Black was added. 

  The numbers listed are the current approximate low end for each tier:

  Hack - 134.77

  Amateur - 88.21

  Pro - 66.95

  Beat these numbers and you'll advance to the next tier.

  I am pro at 76 don't quite get it either
