  for the wind it actually depends on 2 things, Type of Clubs and Type of Balls.

   

  If your using the starter balls they would fly 131 into no wind with full back spind, and if into head wind then - another 7 to 10 yards.

  So would hit it 153 -163 (always want to leave 2-3 yards short.

  That looks good too, BUT what happens if someone does have excel to run that calculator.

  Ever consider putting it into a program itself.  that would run as a stand alone?

  Would you be ok if i took a shot and tried to make one?

  I am just learning about programming.

  I used to play around with programming but never have the time anymore. I wouldn't mind at all as long as it is a joint thing. Send me a message....

  PS That is why I created the online version but it is limited.

  I have never done programming before but really got tired writing stuff down and using a calc.

  So 2 days ago just decided to see if i could learn how to program and day later got it finished.

  Unfortunately was laid off work, and just waiting for something called second career to kick in, and that my wife is not in canada right now, she went home for the holidays.. sooo really kind of board lol

  @steveosh - looks to me like you're writing in .net. Won't work on Macs or Linux.

  Good work on learning to code though; it's quite fun once you get into it!

  I actually used VB - virtual basic.. not sure after that.

  Sorry since i do not have a mac never even thought about them :)

  VB.net is just the newer version of visual basic.
