I have seen a few times now that wayward shots can end up as a lost ball wherein it would seem more apt for the result to be an unplayable lie (for e.g. in the bushes in Andrews). It would be better in those situations to not penalize the player with stroke and distance and the ball.

    Thoughts?

    Hey Swoods,

Check out this discussion about the Gorse bushes here.  They aren't anything you would want to mess with or even try to reach or climb into.  Part of the unplayable lie requires the player to fully identify his ball.  The density of the gorse bush itself (or the inability to get into the Marsh lands on Kiawah) force a lost ball situation instead of an unplayable lie because you wouldn't be able to get close enough to identify it in the way the USGA rules call for.

And also with that said there is some functionality with drops that isn't quite perfect yet and will be tuned and improved as we go.
