Sincere condolences to my American friends and, indeed, to the entire USA on the anniversary of this terrible day.
My unit was actually deployed in Bosnia-Herzegovina during 9-11, and initial intelligence wasn't sure if it was terrorists out of Europe or the Middle east.
Although Bosnia has since settled down, the Middle east remains a hot mess. After two decades of war, let's pray their ability to attack the USA (or any western country) has been nullified.
