  I have been playing trouble free for years. Perhaps you could review the Windows Logs (Event, and Application), and find out the cause, then correct it? It is likely something simple. 
  
  I would try
  
  

  • Different Resolutions.
  • Running in a window vs. full screen.
  • Check for Audio Device Capture (where another program takes it away, and causes a crash)

  
  Look at the logs, it will give you insight.

  99.9999% of the time when something doesn't work for you but for everybody else, you are the cause, doing something wrong. You simply aren't aware of it or the bluffed ego put you in a state of constant denial (and that's why it keeps on happening to you.)

  Record a round of yours and watch it back and forth. I bet you're doing something wrong or unnecessary. If it isn't the case, it's time to revise your calculations, your formula if you have any.
