Was looking thru the FAQs fro the Pro Shop, and saw this regarding Forgiveness:

"Forgiveness: Displays how much Distance and Precision the ball will lose if not hit perfectly."

And all this time I thought forgiveness was about how far you could miss the snap line without hitting the ball into another zip code.  ie.  Forgiveness 4 meant I could miss +/-2 clks, and the hit would be reasonably close to where I aimed; whereas forgiveness 2 meant I better not miss the snap line by more than +/- 1.

didn't you just say the same thing in two different ways?

a higher forgiveness rating would mean that you wouldn't lose as much distance and accuracy than if you were to use a lower rated club and missed by the same margin.
