Ahh, I did not pick up on him playing in a bracket. I know that, oftentimes, after playing in a game where apparel is off, and then playing a ranked round with apparel on, the distance on the meter is incorrect. In such an instance, I disregard the distance shown on meter. I thought this was his situation.
I have not heard about any glitch involving incorrect meter distances when apparel is off.
