Tell me why one cannot hit ANYTHING out of the bunker if its less than like 25% on the hitting meter? then if you go past the 25% mark it goes way past the yardage one needs? Ive just had 4 shots that it says it went no where. How can one hit the ball at a 25 point on the meter and it says you missed?????

That's about right.  1/4 swings in the sand in real life will get you pretty much no where.  The club will slide right under the ball and all you do is move sand.  1/4 swing won't move it very far either. :)

Try using your PITCH and FLOP shots from the bunker and try not to hit any shots (excluding putts) with less than 50% strength on the meter.  They tend to get duffed and only dribble a few yards ahead no matter the lie.  I recommend using the fullest swing possible in almost all situations.

drop some of your 3 fairway woods and equip wedges. then see how you do out of bunkers

flop shots and 50% full swings with a 60W helps too

Hi Baker Bill, as a very basic, greenside bunker shot starting point, please experiment with the starter 50yrd LW using this equation: 50%=15 yards. Try it out....nothing to lose

If I swung at the 50% mark thatd probably go 50 ft and wayyyy past where I need to go...but thanks for the suggestion

That is true Baker Bill, almost. Again, 50%=15 yards. 15 yards = 45 feet. And again, try it, you have nothing to lose.
