Don't play multiple games under the same window. In other words, once you are done with one game, close the browser completely and then restart it before your next game. That should help a little.
Also, try setting your graphics options to LOW and turning off whatever is in the options that you don't absolutely need including the putting grid. A lot of folks don't realize that turning off the grid doesn't actually turn it off completely. It displays the grid on the green until you start your backswing, then it dissapears. Many players have reported smoother meters after taking these actions, so give it a shot.
