Yes Oakmont is slow loading. Takes me about 30 seconds to load Oakmont ! All other maps about 5 seconds.

Hiyas Fuzzy...  Apparently WGT has not seen these long load times.

    WGTniv:
It's hard to prove there's a problem with Oakmont when every tester we have has played Oakmont repeatedly and can find no problems other than minor surface map issues (thick fringe, bunker lie in the rough, minimal issues).  We do not experience any more or less meter stutter.  We do not experience wild happenings, prolonged loadings, slowed gameplay or anything that would suggest there is a widespread problem.  If the problem is widespread it would affect our testing group as well and it has not.

Perhaps it's just over-use and crowded?

    Peace

    Hi guys,

Loading times are always going to vary slightly. The loading time depends on your internet connectivity at that very moment and how many files are needed to be cached.

If you've recently cleared your cache you will experience a longer than normal load time if you are playing a course you haven't played since clearing.  If you have a very small cache size you are likely to see increased loading times if older cached files are kicked out of the cache once it reaches its storage limit.  If your cache is set too small you could be automatically deleting the 1st hole by the time you visit the 18th.  That's also why you can finish a round where everything is fine and get a slow load to start the next round.  Set your cache size higher and only clear them when it's absolutely necessary.
