I bought and tried a lot of different balls when I started.
Is there any chance you can get them out of your equippment ?
I am not talking about selling or gifting, just deleting them

Something I've found them useful for is getting my "In the Drink" award total up... Whenever I'm bored I equip one of the ball types I never use and fire it into the creek on St. Andrews #1 then try to save the par, if that happens, complete the rest of the round and Bobs your uncle! Of course it'll probably take a few decades to get the top award in that category but meh.... It's something different to try. It also gives you a better feel for how different ball types react to your clubs.
