When attempting to login with Firefox 3.5.8 it accepts my username and password, but just jumps back to the login screen. The errors in the firefox log are as follows.

Check the cookie handling. Chrome has experienced a similar issue for me and resetting the cookie handling solved the problem. This started happening after the last update when the status options were introduced. Someting reset the way Chrome dealt with cookies and it wasn't allowing them. This is essential. Hope this helps.

I have had game freezes since the last update while using firefox.  Works fine with Safari so far.

Pressto:  Did YankeeJim's suggestion help you?

DeerRun:  Please try clearing your Flash Cache, your browser cache and cookies.  Restart firefox and attempt to login again.  Instructions to clear caches are HERE (near the bottom) and instructions to clear your cookies are HERE.  Let us know if that didn't work for you.

Yes, I have cleared all the caches and cookies again, which is what they told me last year to do as a fix when this problem started and no it does not fix the problem or issue.

Also you can go to my last round played to see about when this issue first started because everything use to work great before something changed on the website. It looks like they change happened after the Bethpage tourneyment last year and I have not been able to login since.

    Pressto,

Please open Firefox and go to the TOOLS menu (it's default location is the top left menu unless you've customized it) and select OPTIONS.

When the Options menu appears you should see something similar to this:

Click the PRIVACY tab and take a look at the section I've circled red.  Do your settings match the ones in the picture above?  If they don't, please match the settings above, click the OK button, restart Firefox and try to login again.

If they do match, please click the EXCEPTIONS button.  When the exception list comes up please make sure that WGT.COM is NOT listed as Blocked.  If it is listed as Blocked click on WGT.COM and then click the REMOVE SITE button, then click CLOSE.  Click OK one final time to close the options and restart Firefox.

Yes my settings match and I even added both wgt.com and www.wgt.com as ALLOW in the exception list just to force it to accept everything.

    Alright, let's try something else.

    Go to:  http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

This is the flash settings storage panel.  Please click on the tab that I've circled below and verify that your settings match the ones below.  Make sure the slider is set to a minimum of 1MB and that both checkboxes at the bottom are marked.

After doing this you can close the flash settings page, it'll save automatically.  Try restarting Firefox and logging in again.

    Did that fix that problem?

I tried that several times. The game still freezes on firefox. Works fine with other browsers for some reason.
