I'm not saying that the average legend is great, but if he's beating them enough to mention, then something doesn't add up.  He's a tour pro at a level when you should be, at worst, a legend (TL if you do consistent stroke play).

If he's playing for money, then fools and their money are soon parted.  If I play MPC and I see a lvl 90+ on the kiddie tees, there's no way in actual hell I accept that game.  They might as well hang out a neon sign that says "ringer".

I was a level 92 TP and needed 6 rounds of 66 or less when a friend bought me 2 sleeves of Nike 92s. on the last ball I made Master. I've been a Master for now since Jan 26, 2016 and I'm getting close to TM but I just can't bring myself to pay 750 credits for a sleeve of balls. So I've been learning to use my tablet and have been spanked by 2 amatures and a TP playing for coins. Alot of these newbie are good and have great hand/eye reflex. But I just a "Old G" @ 63 having fun and living the dream.

pdb1 - absolutely correct. Level is unrelated to tier. Whether it's 1000s of games played or 1000 days of one hole a day to get the CDP bonus, a combination of a high level plus a tier lower than Legend is easily and honestly achievable.

And vice versa...if someone puts in the time and possibly a little $ for clubs.

I've been a Legend so long I can't even remember when I made it. Any one who has played with me will never accuse me of being a cheater or a sandbagger (other than my bag always being in the sand). I left for quite awhile and just can't get the physics back since my return. I pretty much gave up the stroke games to improve my average. I enjoy the AS much more, stats, average, tier, saturation, whatever, means nothing to me at this point. Back having a little fun and totally satisfied with that. WGT is just a game. Some of the chats during an AS match are priceless. Especially when my partner and I are in the sauce and our opponents are wondering wth is happening here. We play like hacks and have a hoot, so it is very possible to spank higher tier and higher level players.
