Pre shot notice of club distance

  Hi, Just starting to upgrade my clubs from Starter. The Starter drive showed a distance to the hole of 245 yards while my new driver distance is 277 yards. The problem I have is the game is still showing the driver distance of 245 yards which means I have to adjust the aim point all the time. This is also the case for my new 3W. Hope that doesn't mean irons would be the same.

  Is there anyway to adjust it so that the actual club distance is shown?

  As noted, the aimer always is positioned at 245 yards for a tee shot with the hole further than that.  That does not change.  

  You usually need to move the aimer for tee shots anyway, so this becomes second nature as you play.

  I have the same experience as Doctor Larry with the tee shot aimer at 245 yards. On par 3s it shows distance to the hole or 245 whichever is shorter.

  Similarly on approach shots it shows distance to the hole up to 235 yards.

  As Doctor Larry mentioned this is simply the starting point as you're going to move it setting up your shot anyway.
