  We have a club comp and can play it, but then thats that.

  Ive appeared on a few posts now and i stand by the comment that the game has gone backwards since topgolf took over.

  This forum is becoming hostile toward them, and long may it continue.

  An update note of one line reg Oaky going, after the bullsh1t posts about new rewards for inviting friends and the new sh1t avatar was pathetic, absolute joke.

  If folk hate Oakmont.........well see how you feel when a course you like follows suit, as it more than likely will at some point.

  2017 will be the first year that the number of WGT strokeplay courses FAILS to go up. 

  One addition (pending) and one major subtraction.

  I remember those halcyon days of 2010 and 2011 when 2 courses were added each year. 

  But then it became one a year, basically - and now down to ZERO in 2017.

  Still early in the year but might be a few more stroke courses on the chopping block but we still have clashes

  Are you serious?

  Its an awful, awful format - totally geared to WGT raking in the dollars.

  I will no longer seek 250-500th place for my CC to win a precious "course/curse builder" - as the custom courses are now worthless without Oakmont - and other courses that may vanish overnight.
