I clearly remember years ago there were players who would sandbag to lure in folks for a credit game. I have not seen this in a long time. In the early days if you were struggling to advance, a good friend who was a Legend would let you beat them several times to jump you to the next level. Every one knew this was going on. When I was struggling to make Legend I had several great friends who offered to do this for me. If we were playing a match round and I saw them shooting below their ability, I would give them hell and forfeit the round. I did not want that at all. I finally got over the hump with a legit 28 at Kia. The one and only 28 I have every shot. I will admit I was asked as a Legend to help friends advance. I did so and they are now TL's or Champions. I am still the worst Legend on WGT, old school and bull headed. The only sandbagging I ever did-Well!!!!!!!
