I don't even know how I made it to Legend. May have had something to do with the $2000.00 dollars I spent of my own money in 5 years. I have no expectations of going further.I will check in and possibly play a round or two.

wow that equates to 8 dollars week your a big spender renniw52

Two schools of thought play this game, those who set goals and as part of those goals...the tiers.

Other school is those who play for fun and never bother about tiers.

To be honest I had no idea what I was doing when I hit masters tier using the free sticks....I then joined the upgrade club......and set legend as a goal (and like Robert, had scoring goals).

When I hit legend, that was it, the pinnacle of WGT......then they introduced TL, then CH/TC.

To me TL or Champion meant nothing....a worthless title especially when all tiers had been demeaned by red tee specialists. So when TC is open...what will come next?

On a good day, I can give all but the very best a run for their money.....on a bad day, hell a hack would see me as easy pickings!

The problem with all tiers is the "average system" is a system that is not an average or reflection of ability, but of lowest scores misinterpreting ability.

My goals since I made legend are purely to have fun .....I play this game to relax and enjoy myself, not worry about carding a crap score. I play when I feel like playing and I am not a slave to the game.....I have not played for a few days.

For me, the OP's take on TC is flawed, and if that is his goal and his main reason for playing...then IMO, he is playing for all the wrong reasons.

Hear, hear Alanti, excellent post!! I too thought once I reached Legend I had made it to the top. Because the Legend tier is by far the toughest tier on WGT. You are the voice of reason, well, most of the time, lol.

I agree, there's an inflation of tiers, and they put a temporary cap on them with the unaccessible TC label (any thoughts of parallels to "unaccessible" CC L20?).

This, and the average and the new CDP systems, must not be viewed thinking of sportmanship or fairness but from a business POV in connection with psychology. They intend to bind their customers to the game and later force them to unpleasant but solvable situations - some coins will drop eventually, real coins - pling-pling.

And, every time I play they present their "memento mori" on the wall:
"Advance to TL to earn 225 cr". Wonder what the Champions find there? Is there the same text in the pop-up? *laughs*

Yes, and the "prize" is 300 cr ;-)

Well if that is not an incentive, I guess nothing would lure players to grind away...

After all, for many top players, that is nearly half a sleeve of balls! Unbelievable generosity by WGT/TG.

    Wow..that hurts!

I sometimes might be sarcastic, belittle fools, darn-right rude to idiots.....but never considered myself cynical......

Then I started to play WGT....the the broken promises, the incompetence of the programmers, the idiotic ideas team and the lure of riches, fame and glory turned me to be a cynic.....
