I still have the random picker set up from the Surviver game , I am willing to bring that into play if needed .

maybe take the top 8 to 16 from the stroke double header and then do a random for the other 16 to 24......then it does give some lower players the opportunity to play a top player

I'm really warming to this idea of randomness...

    Yup.

Can only speak for myself - others have alluded to it already though - participating in the event as a way of paying tribute to Andyson is all that matters, yeah?

Agreed - this is about participation and paying tribute to Andyson. Who wins is irrelevant IMO, hence the reason for the curve ball (sorry Paul).

But I will go with the consensus.

No sorries needed, that's what this threads about.

Beryman's idea has merit but could still produce the need for tie breakers.

A random draw is fun and is the easier option to manage.

I'm in favour now, as has been pointed out we don't just want a tournament the same as we play week in week out.

     Andyson Community Tournament

***THE ANDYSON MEMORIAL - SIGN UP***

Because there seem to be some not making the list .

I may not be the only one confused by this .

The first (this thread is a discussion on how to have the tournament, the second is the actual sign up thread (for those who want to play).

Still may be work in progress but I have faith in Paul (Ton).

    Hope that helps.

Agreed. It sounds like a great idea and as someone says, this is really about having some fun and honouring Andyson.

    Cheers,

But I think that some are trying to sign in in the discussion thread .

Thanks for highlighting this Paul, I hadn't noticed. I would hate for anyone to miss the chance to play.

    Any volunteers?

Need someone to go through this 'discussion' thread and collect the names of anyone who has said they want to play, then either post the names in 'sign-up' thread or get them to Casey (CEverett12) so he can add them to the entry list.
