  Did the cut drop to 55 at the last min.???? Cause it says I did not qualify with a 56

  no. cut is 56.

  Its a WGT error. They have forgot to start the tourney. No on has played. Its a fake error message

  Thanks, good to know. I shot 54 and stated I did not qualify.

  West coast US needs to wake up before a shot is hit in the tournament proper.

  I'm very surprised to see that my 56 has made it, felt sure there would be a last minute rush of 55s. Ironic in a year that has seen me complete no more than 20 rounds, I manage a qualifying score in just 3 attempts. In previous years when hooked on the game, playing 8 hours a day, it usually took me forever to get one.

  quite surprised (and happy) that 56 was good enough. guess i wasn't the only one too frustrated with the greens to try for a better score.
  
  since this is my first time around: how are these us open tournaments ususally set up in terms of tees/wind/greenspeed?

  Well, it may take more time this year as a few players did qualify and removed after the security sweeps occured...

  And they also have to issue the 2K credits wires to the 156+ players who did pass the cut...

  And also prepare a bunch of mails with the notifications about the VUSO...

  Might take another while...
