So true Priestess. I came in 3rd in a weekly CTTH as an amateur and won a whole 17 credits.
The one he noted above was a big one. The purse for this was 25,000 credits with winner receiving 4500. Not too bad for a CTTH. Leaderboard and information found here....

It was hidden, kind of like the KLM open CTTH where many of us won tickets to the KLM Open in 2010, and were notified 2 days before event kicked off.
