Hi all...
There has been a couple of match play games (scored) that I've played with one particular player, from the U.S. like myself...played at Oakmont CC. He told me that it was an older course from earlier on here at WGT. And told me that you can select it from the options when setting up the game. However, it is grayed out for me. I only have the option to play at 3 courses, that is St. Andrews, Bethpage and Kaiwai. This is when selecting match play or stroke play.
This particular player is the only one that I've ever been to Oakmont with. I'm wondering why, and wondering if there is a way for me to get access to Oakmont and others that are grayed out.
If I cannot practice there in stroke play, or other game types, I am at a disadvantage if I join a game and it is at Oakmont.
Can anybody please shed some light on the courses that are available to me? I have been a member since October/2010. The player that I've played at Oakmont has been here since June/2009.
