    TarheelsRule:

Any hint of a free rental weekend from WGT to maybe try out the new clubs.    Not sure that I would buy them but there would be fun to try and yes I too am way to cheap to pay out money for a rental.

You'd think it would make sense, but who knows...if wgt would do it more often, stands to reason they'd sell more clubs.

As to the great ball controversy, I admit that I'm older and slower than YJ...but that's like saying Orson Welles was fatter than Jackie Gleason.

Well, young man, I was hatched in 1951...can you beat that?  I know you can beat me in mp, but can you beat me in geriatricism?

OY. Depends on which month. My parents had a good time over Christmas in 1950. Brought new meaning to Labor Day for my mother. :-)

OK, I see several that have gone with the new Nike irons have stayed with the Cleveland wedges.  Will you be staying with those, or switching to the ATV to match meter speed?

Not I.   unless they make them have the 60/80/100 yardages.  I have left the cg's before to go to atv's but came back for the 17yd pitch with the cg spin.  :)

I like the 20 yd gaps to fit in with the 120 yard PW.   60-80-100-120   fits perfectly and the CG 50 yard punch can be choked down to 20 yds with consistent results.

Shots with those 3 clubs tend to be varied and of a different mindset so the meter speed won't be as much of an issue as you might think. I'm definitely staying with mine.

In fact, after the observation of how the meter speeds were all the same from driver to PW, I went back to the R11 3W because that friggin BB 3W owns me. This goes to the forgiveness and the same missed hit with the irons isn't nearly as hurtful as one with the BB. That 3W is a beast when you hit it right but it doesn't forgive like the Nikes do and their relaxed forgiveness is playing right into my lazy swing.  :-)

what if the CG had yellow grips?

Then their meter would be much much slower ,  that's just how it works. ;-)
