Stopping multiple new post notifications?

  Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening? I couldn't care less about this thread anymore (it seems WGT couldn't from the beginning) and being inundated with multiple notifications is a tad annoying.

  

  could have filed a bug report but wasn't sure if it's a bug, so thought I'd ask here first...

  seems to have stopped now? I guess they fixed it.

  What you'll need to do is go back to the thread and find the post where you checked the box to be notified of new posts.. and uncheck it. I've had to do this on several occasions.

  Edit:  What I'm actually talking about is the email notifications.. Not sure if that's what you were referring to.

  No, he was talking about that CC thread that multiplied. Late in the thread somebody copied and pasted something that blew the thread up and it started showing up 7 times for every post instead of one. 

  It has since been fixed.
