Are you speaking about your 64 degree wedge hit as a full swing?

With an example being 20 yards from the pin, in a bunker, so just hit the 64 wedge at for 40 yards and your shot will land 1-2 yards from the hole.

I hit bunker flop shots, but your post has me interested enough to reply to you.

It is a max wedge level 50 ish which goes 60 yds in a neutral wind.  As I said at the end of my post it all depends on many variables. My calculation for example would never work with starter balls!

Someday I try this out and I'm guessing with the right tweaking it would be another shot for me to use based on various conditions.  Thanks

i find that garypinhunter's website has a good formula. I put the formula in my worksheet and it works out fine.

    Titulescu:
For every bunker shot I use a 64wedge, just double the distance to the hole and you will land within 1 to 2 yards

That approach definitely won't work on all greens. That's especially so if one short-sides himself/herself and has the green sloping away. Also, it's not going to work for higher tiers with their faster greens.

A while back, scotthope put the information into a graphic. Hopefully, this link works:

Definitely true. That approach will leave you a long putt -- or off the green -- at Legend green speeds.
