Criteria for going from Legend to Tour Legend?

  I thought that there was a minimum number of rounds at Legend requirement before reaching Tour Legend, seems this may no longer be true.

  In WGT news:   MASTER SEASON LEADERS

  ,,,,,,,,,, (USA) 4,458 - NA MONTHLY

  ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, has tiered-up to Legend, ..

  Phil now seems to be a Tour Legend, he was at Master on 06/11/14 and has played a total of 60 ranked rounds.  

  Sorry if this is already widely known.

  Hope it's ok to use his name as it was in WGT news and I'm not suggesting anything untoward on his part.

  The member in question was somebody before he became somebody else and WGT knows who it was IMO.

  Yep. It looks like when WGT discovers multi-accounters/sandbaggers WGT is bumping them up to higher tiers

  And now a n other no doubt.  Does this mean that in general as well as getting a 59 average, you do still need to play lots of rounds at Legend to become TL?

  For the normal (non-cheat) player, you need an average below 60 with 500 ranked rounds as a Legend to move up.

  500 ranked Legend strokeplay rounds without Par3s and Par5s,

  average equal or below 60.000.
