False advertising

  Your post is nonsensical and does nothing to refute my initial statement that Hitler didn't like the Communism because he saw it as a movement started by atheist Jews, which Churchill obviously agreed with.

  To be fair, the progenitor of modern Communism was actually "Sir" Thomas More (a Catholic), in his book Utopia, but it was not Hitler's (nor Churchill's) belief that Bolshevism was a Catholic movement.  Hitler saw it as an atheist and Jewish movement, and those are two of the reasons that he didn't like Communists.

  This is also the contention of Answers.com:

  That Hitler believed Bolshevism was a Jewish movement is also the contention of wikipedia:

  The label "Judeo-Bolshevism" was used in Nazi Germany to equate Jews with communists, implying that the communist movement served Jewish interests and/or that all Jews were communists.^[4]

  In Nazi Germany, this term expressed the common perception that Communism was a Jewish-inspired and Jewish-led movement seeking world domination from its very origin... This was followed by Hitler's highly inflammatory statement in Mein Kampf (1924): "In Russian Bolshevism we must see Jewry's twentieth century effort to take world dominion unto itself."

  That Hitler disliked Communists because he saw it as an atheistic and Jewish movement is also the contention of the BNP, which is a modern Nazi group.

  Whether you personally believe that Bolshevism was lead disproportionally by atheist Jews (although, as Churchill says, this does not have to exaggerated, as is readily discernible) is irrelevant.  Hitler thought it was, and those were two reasons that he disliked Communists.  The direct quote from Mein Kampf proves this.  (Admittedly much of this does not include the "atheist" part, but it does prove beyond any doubt that he believed Bolshevism to be a Jewish movement.)

  Charle, you should be aware that More's work was largely based on on Plato's Republic, a text that was written close on 2000 years before More's birth. Karl Marx is the father of communism. Manifesto of The Communist Party is the 'bible' of communism, a text that expresses the most sophisticated tenets of the philosophy.

  Ah come on xw/many#s.....don't QUIT now! I'm getting into this battle of the brainiacs.

  Your's and Charle's interpretation (used loosely, no offence) of the history of communism, socialism, capitalism, and WWII is entertaining. Need something else to do while I "exorcize" the swing meter "demons" out of my game before I can finish my rounds for the day/night.

  Just one thought which is an obvious error, whoever stated communism was conceived by "atheist Jews" could not have happened. That would be an oxymoron. You cannot be a pure Jew and not believe in God. In fact you not Jewish unless your mother was a Jew.

  Got a mail this morning from WGT, "Free PING driver". Very nice i thought, until i was reading further on, "Buy $20 of WGT credits and get a FREE Ping driver".

  It's not free then is it? Exceedingly misleading and exceedingly false advertising'

   

  Not sure it's 'false' advertising... but I clearly see that it's misleading. But this site is LOADED with 'BUY this' or BUY that' options. Look at it this way...

  If you get this offer... and you were going to buy $20 of credits anyway... then the 'free' Ping Driver may actually be free (only not really). If you WEREN'T planning to buy $20 worth of credits, but the inducement to buy has been swayed because of the Ping Driver is attached, then it is NOT free. You just paid $20 for a Ping Driver (and got $20 worth of credits along with it). It's just your point of view... just what they are counting on. Happens in MANY forms of advertising today... sad but true.

  If the emails said...

  'Click here for your FREE Ping Driver. No purchase required.'  You click on it and a Ping driver appears in your bag... then it is TRULY free. Otherwise... it's just advertising BS. Has anyone received such a gracious offer??? Not that I've seen yet.

  Yes.. it's clearly misleading... there is no doubt of that. But the owners of this site WANT you to BUY... all sites like this do in fact. That is how they make a living I suppose. As a software developer of sorts, I know how time-consuming and expensive it can be.

  I have only been here a few days at this point... what can I say... I like golf. But I did notice the (almost immediate) offer to buy a ball that 'slows down the swing meter'. I also noticed all the 'buy this club' or 'buy that club'. I have yet to spend any $$$ (on ANY online game... EVER) - nor do I intend to.

  I have a feeling you will eventually have to spend some $$$ to play this game. The clubs you are given in the first levels (so far) REALLY suck. It's like swinging with a soggy stick that has been floating in the river for a few years. At level 23 (and 80.49), I have seen no measurable difference in the quality of the clubs... and not sure that I'm likely to do so in the future.

  If it becomes necessary to actually spend $$$ on the game... it will be time to unload it - never to be heard from again.

  Doing poorly? Just throw some money at it. You'll suddenly do better. I'm not sure that is the best message to send.

  Having said all that... the game seems mildly interesting. We'll see if it stays that way.

  In recent years, people have been considered Jews by birth, even if they are atheist.  Hitler also believed that it has as much to do with genetic makeup as it did with their religion... that a Jew turned atheist was little different than a very religious Jew... so according to him, they were atheist Jews.

  Of course, it is open to interpretation.  For some, "atheist Jew" is contradictory; for others, it is perfectly appropriate.  If you want to disagree with Hitler's stance and say that such people cannot truly be called Jews, that is a different matter, but that Hitler disliked Communism because of its association with Jews and atheism is undeniable.

  As far as the "can only be a Jew if your mother was a Jew" goes, that has been discarded by Israel in order to keep the number of Jews up because the Israeli government wants to keep a Jewish majority in "greater" Israel in order to oppress the Palestinians.  Israel would call a ham sandwich a Jew if they had to in order to keep this majority.

  if they would only use all of that mental energy to good use in a forum in which it could be appreciated instead of here i am sure something terriable would happen.   they deserve each other such drivel..... my 2 cents.....

  back to the topic and leaving the drivel alone - its pretty clear thats an offer anyone can take up - spend 20 bucks and get a driver you havent paid for. pretty obvious stuff...
