    bluzgolf:

If a person actually calls any company, then that company is an exception from any do not call list.

IOW, you calling gives them permission to call you back.

Not true... if your call specifically requests them to remove your number from their calling list any further phone contact by them is further in violation of the telemarketing laws here in the US and puts them subject to being fined. Do they follow it, some do some don't.

What Pizzes me off are the ones that  call with no return call number or private number showing so I can't call back and raise hell with them. I had one the other day call me with a private number showing after I told him my number was on the do not call list and requested my number be removed he told me tough syht they wouldn't remove it. Then when I mentioned they were in violation of federal law he told me to shut the F up. I called my carrier and reported it but since there was no return number there wasn't anything they could do.

I guess I should have stated a disclaimer about you specifically calling to be removed.

I meant if you call and ask about a product.

Oldbay- You may want to reconsider about calling them back. The news recently published a scam list again warning people against doing that.

One method they use is dialing from an area code that looks like a long distance area code but is actually an offshore phone number. The calls are from area codes that include: 268, 284, 473, 664, 649, 767, 809, 829, 849 and 876. Those calls go to Jamaica, Grenada and the Dominican Republic among other locations. You get nailed for the international call.

Another is where you dial back what looks like a legitimate local or long distance number but the call redirects overseas without your knowledge. The calls redirect to a "pay per minute" number like the porn sites and you run up huge charges while you are on hold. The money is paid to the scammers by the phone company before you get the bill. With no way to recover the money the phone company may or may not forgive the bill the first time; they definitely won't the second time you dial a number like that.

Warrior equipment isn't bad ... it's as everyone says though, if you do happen to jump on their free offer, you'll have to pay for the setup/shipping and handling and they will continue to hound you.

THX ....but I didn't call them back they were still on the phone and my phones are set to not allow any calls to any international area codes. Plus you can't call back numbers that come up as private or with no return phone number So I try to tell them to take my number off of their list when they call me..

Unless Warrior has recently changed, be prepared to get hounded to death by the company. If they get your phone number or email address  you will never get rid of them and you will hear from them often. In the past it didn't matter even if you gave them instructions to back off and leave you alone. They didn't care.

Review sites are full of Warrior's scam complaints and stores won't carry their products.

They called me a few years back and when I told them I didn't like hybrids the guy got smart with me. Except his smart a@@ed question got an answer he didn't expect. He asked and I quote" I guess you still use a 1 and 2 iron to which I replied yes. I have used a 1 iron since i was 14 and I'm 62 and still use one. He hung up on me.
